BTS Rapper J-Hope Set to Embark on First-Ever Solo World Tour 'Hope on the Stage'
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA - In a thrilling announcement made by BigHit Music, the parent company of BTS label, Hybe revealed that 30-year-old rapper J-Hope is set to embark on his first-ever solo world tour titled 'Hope on the Stage'. The highly anticipated tour will kick off with three nights in Seoul before heading to 15 cities across six countries in North America.
As shared by J-Hope himself on his Instagram handle, the US leg of the tour is expected to feature stops in New York, Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, and Oakland. The Los Angeles stop, scheduled for LA's BMO Stadium, will make history as it marks the first time a Korean solo artist has headlined a US stadium.
"We are beyond excited to take J-Hope on this incredible journey," said BigHit Music in an official statement. "His passion and energy will surely leave audiences spellbound."
This tour marks the beginning of J-Hope's solo performance career, although he has already made history as the first Korean artist to headline Lollapalooza festival in 2022.
J-Hope's fans, known as ARMY, can look forward to live-streamed performances from the Seoul leg of the tour. The three nights at Seoul's venue will be available to stream on Hybe's fan platform, Weverse.
Notably, this is not the first time J-Hope has performed solo; however, it marks his global debut as a headlining artist.
