Bragar Eagel & Squire Files Class Action Lawsuit Against WM Technology Over Alleged False Statements
A class action lawsuit has been filed against WM Technology, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed company, alleging that the company made false and/or misleading statements to investors regarding its business and operations.
The lawsuit, filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, claims that WM Technology's monthly average user metrics (MAUs) were severely inflated for years. As a result, defendants' statements about the company's business, operations, and prospects were materially false and misleading or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.
Investors who purchased or otherwise acquired WM Technology shares between May 25, 2021, and September 24, 2024, are eligible to participate in the class action. Those interested must submit their claims by December 16, 2024, to be considered for appointment as lead plaintiff.
Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C., a nationally recognized stockholder rights law firm, is representing investors in this case. The firm has offices in New York, California, and South Carolina and represents individual and institutional investors in commercial, securities, derivative, and other complex litigation.
