BLACKPINK's Jisoo Vs YG Entertainment? Fans Slam The Label For Poor Timing Of World Tour

Korean pop sensation BLACKPINK has finally announced a world tour for this year, but fans are not celebrating as joyfully as they should be.

The news about the group's first major tour since 2022 was released by YG Entertainment on Thursday, February 6, which has sparked a mixed reaction among the BLINKs.

One cannot help but think of the fact that this announcement came at an inconvenient time for BLACKPINK member Jisoo, who has been keeping herself busy with upcoming solo album Amortage and tour Lights, Love, Action!

Fans took to social media platforms as soon as the news broke out and expressed their dissatisfaction towards YG Entertainment. They criticized the agency's poor timing of making such an important announcement just days after Jisoo revealed her own plans

For instance, Twitter user @momsooo expressed, “Just when Jisoo announced her Asia tour and promoted her album, YG suddenly announced another world tour without an album or anything, just to distract fans from jisoo. So nasty."

Another Twitter user, danay🧸 (@LOVELYJIS00) posted: "No album announcement, but they’re suddenly promoting a tour—right after Jisoo announced her fancon and during her EP rollout?"

Meanwhile, Twitter user tani loves HUGS n' KISSES💋 shared: “We were in awe of you as we thought Jisoo was going to drop her new single with the announcement date just right after her release. But now YG has another world tour out without album announcement”

It's evident that many fans, particularly those who are supporting Jisoo, feel that this decision by YG was intentionally aimed at overshadowing Jisoo’s upcoming projects.

Twitter user @JISOOSIDE__ said, “YG announced a group tour right after #JISOO revealed her first-ever solo tour! And they posted it at the exact same time as her solo concept teaser? Isn’t it obvious that this was intentional? It almost feels like an attempt to overshadow her moment."

Meanwhile, fans were concerned about poor timing considering BLACKPINK has been on hiatus since their Born Pink World Tour.
