BITS Pilani, Aditya Birla Science and Technology Company Collaborate for Academic and Research Excellence
Mumbai, India - In a significant move to foster academic and research collaboration, BITS Pilani has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aditya Birla Science and Technology Company (ABSTC). The partnership aims to promote scientific and technological advancements in areas of mutual interest, ultimately contributing to human resource development.
As part of the MoU, both organizations have outlined several collaborative initiatives, including joint research in basic and applied sciences, submission of research proposals to national and international funding bodies, and the exchange of expertise through workshops, conferences, and symposiums. This partnership will enable students from BITS Pilani to undertake research projects and PS projects at ABSTC's state-of-the-art research facilities.
Moreover, employees of ABSTC can now avail Ph.D. programs offered by BITS Pilani through its Institute's Ph.D. Aspirant Scheme, further solidifying the knowledge exchange and innovation between the two institutions. This collaboration is expected to spur creativity and provide significant solutions in various sectors.
