Big B Reflects On Early Struggles, Commiserates With KBC Contestant

Mumbai: In a heartwarming and candid episode of "Kaun Banega Crorepati 16", host Amitabh Bachchan shared his nostalgic reflections on his early days of struggle and determination that propelled him to stardom.

Bachchan reminisced about his journey from scratch, talking about the hard work and perseverance that led him to become one of India's most revered actors. Sharing an anecdote, he revealed how he would walk everywhere to get job interviews, recalling his foot-falling days on the streets of Mumbai.

"It's not just that I walked by car," Bachchan said humorously. "You at least had a bag; I didn't even have that when I was job-hunting."

He also expressed pride in reaching the coveted KBC hotseat, saying it's been a dream for him since his early days. Notably, he praised Nishant Jaiswal, an artisan from Chhattisgarh who never gave up on his dreams of appearing on KBC.

Nishant had previously walked over 10 miles from Vile Parle station to Bachchan's house numerous times without an audition, silently praying for a chance to sit on the hotseat. His heartfelt approach touched Big B, who shared his own early struggles of securing work.

In response, Nishant shared the personal struggles he faced and his determination to achieve his ambition of serving the nation as an IPS officer. The conversation between Big B and Nishant became a relatable connection for all watching, illustrating that success often stems from perseverance.

"Kaun Banega Crorepati 16" airs every Monday to Friday on Sony Entertainment Television.
