Big B Open Up About Early Struggles on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'
Mumbai: In a candid conversation on the recent episode of India's longest-running game show "Kaun Banega Crorepati 16", host Amitabh Bachchan shared his reflective experiences of struggling to make it big in the entertainment industry.
The legendary actor, who is now one of the most successful and respected faces in Bollywood, reminisced about his early days as a struggling actor. He recalled walking long distances on foot, carrying minimal belongings, from the Vile Parle station to attend auditions, highlighting the sheer determination that propelled him to stardom.
"Amitabh Bachchan shared how he used to walk everywhere on foot for job-hunting and didn't even have a bag to his name," said contestant Nishant Jaiswal from Chhattisgarh. Nishant is an artisan dedicated to the intricate craft of silk-making, and an aspiring IPS officer who has struggled with selection in the KBC auditions.
Nishant's inspiring story touched Big B, who shared that his own struggles were not dissimilar. When asked about his journey from a struggling actor to one of India's most respected celebrities, Bachchan revealed, "I never imagined I'd be here today – this house (Jalsa) would one day be mine!"
