Babbu Mann Promotes Sports Development Among Children at Roundglass Foundation's Event

Punjab's ace singer Babbu Mann paid a visit to Roundglass Foundation's Sport Centre in Kheri Bir Singh village, Mohali on Sunday, November 10,2024, to encourage children to engage in sports for their overall development. Over 500 children from Roundglass Foundation's Sports Centres in Ludhiana and Fatehgarh Sahib districts gathered at the venue, eager to meet their star and seek his advice.

Maan highlighted the importance of sports in life, emphasizing that spending time outdoors is far more beneficial than indulging in screens. He expressed gratitude towards Roundglass Foundation for their efforts in inspiring children to engage with sports, citing the organization's free-coaching services and provision of sports equipment as a huge success story. "Sports will help you grow both physically and mentally," advised Maan.

During his visit, Babbu Mann distributed footballs among girls and announced the launch of Roundglass Foundation Football Cup 2024, which will kick off on November 14. The RGFFC is an inter-village football tournament that aims to foster team spirit, leadership, and discipline in children aged 5-16 years from over 300 villages of Punjab.

Organized around these core values, the RGFFC promises to be an exciting event, with a total of 290 village teams, including 50 girls' teams, competing for the trophy. The final will take place on November 23,2024 in Mohali. Vishal Chowla, Leader of Roundglass Foundation, commended Babbu Mann for dedicating time to visit their Sports Centre, stating that such role models inspire children to pursue their aspirations.

The inaugural event marks an expansion of Roundglass Foundation's ambitious mission to revive Punjab's sporting culture and recognize its state's illustrious sports legacy. With 400 Sports Centres established in over 350 villages in the past four years, engaging over 11,000 children – including girls – in the sport will foster leadership development, self-confidence, and teamwork.
