The 49th edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) has kicked off with a vibrant and engaging display by the Ministry of AYUSH, showcasing the core pillars of AYUSH - research, innovation, and public service. The interactive Ayush Pavilion is one of the key attractions among visitors, offering an immersive experience that blends traditional Indian wellness practices with modern innovations.
The pavilion features several high-profile exhibits, including Ayush Aahar, where councils and institutions showcase innovative Ayush dietary solutions. Visitors can learn about the efficacy of traditional dietary practices in promoting holistic wellness through live demonstrations and expert interactions.
Another highlight is the Ayush Visa section, which aims to boost India's growing health and wellness sector. The Ministry of Home Affairs has notified Ayush Visa, facilitating global tourists seeking treatment under Ayush Systems of Medicine in India.
The pavilion also features a special section on medicinal plants by the National Medicinal Plants Board, highlighting their medicinal value and recent advancements in their applications. Live yoga demonstrations by the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga are another highlight of the pavilion.
For children, a unique 'Snakes & Ladders' game has been designed to teach the principles of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle as per Ayurveda. Interactive kiosks such as Prakriti Parikshan and Mizaj Parikshan allow visitors to discover their body types and understand personalized lifestyle recommendations based on Ayurvedic principles.
In an effort to educate kids about health and wellness, 'Daadi Se Poocho' has been set up, where participants can receive health advice from traditional medicine experts. Visitors can also access recipes based on the principles of Ayush Aahar through dedicated exhibits and demonstrations.
The 49th IITF offers visitors a unique opportunity to delve into the world of traditional Indian wellness practices, blending ancient wisdom with modern innovations.
