AUSTRALIA SEEKS MERCY FROM INDIAN BATTING LINEUP ON DAY 2 OF MELBOURNE TEST
In the ongoing fourth test between India and Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Australia is eyeing another strong bowling performance to put pressure on the Indian batting lineup on Day 2.
Melbourne, Dec 27: The Indian cricket team finds itself in a precarious position after a scintillating 114-run opening partnership between Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara for the first wicket, gave Australia just enough food thought to go at it aggressively on day two of this match.
However, with India's innings reduced to follow-on on Day 2 of the match due to Australia's 474/5 in their first innings the batmen are reeling under some serious financial pressure and now need a decent contribution from the batsmen especially the younger ones.
