Apollo Hospitals Sees 15% Growth in Revenue, Expands Services with Cutting-Edge Tech

Bengaluru: Apollo Hospitals, one of India's leading private hospital chains, has reported a significant increase in revenue, driven by its innovative approach to healthcare through technology.

Under the leadership of founding member and current Chairperson, Sangita Reddy, the organization has successfully harnessed the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the delivery of healthcare services. The hospital chain has managed to tap into various emerging technologies such as IoT, data analytics, drone technology, and blockchain to integrate its services seamlessly.

According to Reddy, one of the major challenges that Apollo Hospitals has faced is providing international-standard healthcare to every individual, particularly due to regulatory constraints limiting collaboration with foreign medical professionals. However, she emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards in the industry.

In a significant milestone, Apollo has expanded its operations to over 10,000 beds across 73 hospitals globally, setting benchmarks for healthcare projects along the way. The hospital chain's revenue grew by 15% year-on-year, reaching Rs 19,059 crore, as reported by Apollo Hospitals in FY24.

As the healthcare industry continues to evolve rapidly, Reddy is pushing forward with a vision of future healthcare that is proactive, personalized, and accessible to all.
