AP CM Naidu Embarks on Mission to Promote 'Brand AP' at World Economic Forum in Davos
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to depart for the prestigious World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos, Switzerland on Sunday, with an aim to promote "Brand AP" and present the state as a lucrative investment destination to global business leaders and industrialists.
As part of his mission, CM Naidu plans to highlight a range of employment-driven industrial policies and engage with top executives to secure investments for the state. In a recent statement, the Chief Minister's office mentioned that he will use this platform to capitalize on the state's strengths, including its human resources, infrastructure, government subsidies, stable leadership, and efficient business environment.
CM Naidu's itinerary includes meetings with India's ambassador to Switzerland as well as industrialists at local hotels. He is also scheduled to attend a "Meet and Greet Telugu Diaspora" event, where he will discuss investment opportunities and promote Andhra Pradesh.
During his four-day visit to Davos, CM Naidu is expected to hold talks on green hydrogen and engage in numerous meetings with chief executives and chairpersons of prominent companies such as Coca-Cola, Welspun, LG, Carlsberg, Cisco, Walmart International, Cognizant Technologies, among several others. In a single day alone, he is set to conduct at least 10 meetings and conferences.
The CM's visit has been accompanied by senior officials, including IT Minister Nara Lokesh, Industries Minister TG Bharat, and other top bureaucrats.
CM Naidu is scheduled to leave for Delhi on Sunday afternoon before departing from the city to Zurich. His visit to Davos marks an important strategic move by the state to promote itself as a major economic hub in India.
