Andhra Pradesh Unveils Strategic Masterplan to Attract Investment
Davos, Switzerland - Minister of IT, Electronics & HRD Nara Lokesh discussed the strategic approach adopted by Andhra Pradesh to attract significant investments in the State, fostering industrial growth, and creating job opportunities.
Speaking on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum at Davos, Swiss, Mr. Lokesh revealed that the State is capitalizing on its cost-effective land, sustainable energy solutions, and pro-business policies to draw investment from national and international players.
"Our unique selling point lies in offering attractive offers, including extremely low-cost land rates compared to other major tech destinations," said Minister Lokesh. "We are committed to providing 100% backwash for electricity to our industrial hubs and making it free to businesses that invest in the State."
The Minister also emphasized on the role of digital infrastructure development, saying that Andhra Pradesh is focusing on laying a robust digital backbone across its major cities and industrial hubs.
"In today's era of technology adoption, we know the significance of providing reliable internet connectivity. Our goal is to enable our entrepreneurs with state-of-the-art digital solutions that empower them in their journey," Mr. Lokesh added.
