Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Discoveries at Vedic Science Conference
Kathmandu, November 10 - Thousands of Nepali attendees converged on Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu Valley for the second Vedic and Modern Science Conference, which brought together experts from over 70 countries to explore the intersection of ancient Vedic knowledge and modern scientific understanding.
The three-day event, kicked off on November 7, fostered a unique exchange among participants, who discussed how timeless practices like yoga, meditation, and rituals could contribute to global harmony and personal growth. The conference's centerpiece was a grand Maha Yagya on Thursday, led by 1,111 Vedic pandits renowned for their mastery in spiritual meditation and supernatural abilities.
The ceremony began with a Rudrabhishek, an ancient ritual that invokes the energy of Lord Shiva through recitation of sacred hymns. Participants immersed themselves in this experience, demonstrating their commitment to Vedic lifestyle principles. This blending of traditional spirituality with modern science marked a significant step forward for Nepal's efforts to integrate its rich cultural heritage into contemporary society.
The conference coincided with the opening of the Eighth Organic Agricultural Fair and Exhibition, showcasing over 50 stalls offering natural and organic agricultural products. As Nepal strives to establish itself as a premier organic food producer, this event highlighted the nation's dedication to sustainable practices and innovative methods that cater to global demand for eco-friendly produce both domestically and internationally.
Delegates from across the globe gathered at Bhrikuti Mandap to celebrate the harmony between ancient wisdom and modern knowledge, reflecting Nepal's aspiration to be at the forefront of a cultural revival that strengthens unity through spirituality and science.
