ALRAYAN.COM BREAKING: Kerala Film 'Turkish Tharkkam' Withdrawn from Theatres Amidst Allegations of Misleading Audiences

Kochi: In a sudden turn of events, the makers of the recent Malayalam film 'Turkish Tharkkam', starring Sunny Wayne, have announced that they are withdrawing the movie from theatres across Kerala.

The film, directed by Navaz Sulaiman and released on November 22, revolves around a conflict over a dead body buried at a Turkish mosque. The production house, Big Pictures, behind the project, issued a statement stating that 'some people working with vested interests' have been trying to mislead the theatre-going audience regarding the movie.

"We have learnt that some people are trying to spread lies about 'Turkish Tharkkam'," said a representative of Big Pictures. "The film does not intend to hurt religious sentiments in any way, but we will screen it again once we are able to convince the audience otherwise."

'Turkish Tharkkam' features a talented ensemble cast including Lukman Avaran, Amina Nijam, Harisree Ashokan, Jayan Cherthala, Jolly Chirayath, and Dayyana Hameed.

It is unclear at this point as to who or what 'vested interests' are behind the allegations against the film. Alrayaan.com will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.
