Aligarh: NHM UP Announces Recruitment Drive for 7401 CHOs on Contract Basis
The National Health Mission (NHM), Uttar Pradesh has launched a significant recruitment drive for 7401 Community Health Officer (CHO) positions this year, with applications opening from October 28 to November 17, 2024. The CHO positions, advertised as part of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, are aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery in rural and village areas.
The UP NHM chose a total of 7401 community health officer positions that can be filled on contract basis for this endeavor. These selections were created to increase primary health care services in these regions by collaborating with team groups.
To be eligible for the position, candidates must hold a B.Sc (Nursing) certification with an integrated post basic Community Health Nurse Certificate of a recognized nursing council. A registration certificate from the UP Nurses & Midwives Council or a comparable state nursing council is also required. The post's recruitment was started by NHM UP.
The selection for community health officers will be decided from two rounds - Computer Based Test (CBT) and Document Verification Process. In first stage, only 100 marks will apply in CBT and the minimum pass score is different according for various categories of candidates
Successful CHOs would help provide essential services on a regular basis. The appointment will be based on the documentation procedure.
The applications for CHO recruitment have opened from October 28 to November 17, 2024.
