Air India Extends Wireless Inflight Entertainment Service, Bringing Uninterrupted Relaxation to Passengers

Bengaluru, December 10, 2024 - Air India has taken a significant step in enhancing its on-board experience for passengers by expanding its popular wireless inflight entertainment service, Vista Stream, to both its widebody and narrowbody fleets. Starting today, guests can enjoy uninterrupted entertainment throughout their flights across the entire domestic and international network.

The introduction of Vista Stream marks another milestone in Air India's efforts to elevate its position as a world-class airline provider. With this update, passengers will be able to access a vast array of content catered to diverse tastes, including popular Bollywood blockbusters, Hollywood hits, captivating documentaries, classic music sessions, and age-appropriate children's programs.

As per sources close to the airline, Vista Stream was initially rolled out across Air India's wide-body fleet in August this year. Excluding the new Boeing 777 and Airbus 350 aircraft, guests on these planes now have the option of streaming content directly from their personal electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, or any other compatible device.

"When we initiated Vista Stream, our aim was to provide our passengers with a seamless and engaging entertainment experience. With its extension across both widebody and narrowbody fleets, we're confident that this service will further solidify Air India's position as the preferred airline of discerning travelers," said Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer at Air India.

In a statement, Air India emphasized its commitment to transforming passenger experiences on board. "We continue to invest in cutting-edge technologies that allow us to deliver innovative services such as Vista Stream. These initiatives reflect our dedication to enhancing the comfort, convenience, and overall satisfaction of passengers," said a company spokesperson.

Currently, guests can explore over 1600+ hours of premium content within their reach and enjoy real-time flight tracking maps on their devices while flying across various international destinations, domestic network routes, or simply connecting cities.
