Advance Bookings for 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' Begin in Four States
Mumbai, Nov 30 (ANI): The much-anticipated Bollywood film "Pushpa 2: The Rule" has officially kicked off advance bookings in four states - Kerala, Gujarat, Punjab, and Delhi UT. Fans of lead actor Allu Arjun are eagerly waiting for the release of the action drama on December 5.
According to reports, the advance booking grossed Rs 21.3K (excluding blocked seats), with approximately 123 tickets sold so far. However, it's early days yet, and the buzz around the film has not gained full momentum.
In terms of pre-sales booking, Kerala leads with a contribution of nearly 63 per cent of the total bookings, followed by Delhi UT at 34 per cent, amounting to Rs 7.2K so far. The response in Gujarat, which has the highest number of shows, remains relatively subdued till now.
Trade analysts have predicted a sharp rise in ticket sales over the next two days as the buzz around Allu Arjun's starrer movie builds up. With around 1.4 million interests on BookMyShow, the film is anticipated to create a massive impact at the Indian box office.
Fans can book their tickets online through BookMyShow or its application. The ticket prices vary depending on location and seat availability, ranging from Rs 270 to Rs 1499.
The pre-release event of 'Pushpa 2' was held on Friday, where lead actors Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna danced to the song "Angaaron" from the film. Recently, Rashmika shared her experiences with the Pushpa franchise on social media.
Directed by ace director Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is set to hit the theatres on December 5. The film will see Allu Arjun and Rashmika reprise their roles as Pushpa Raj and Srivalli respectively.
The real frenzy is expected to unfold tomorrow as the full schedule opens up. Considering the immense hype, Pushpa 2 is likely to sell out shows within hours of its release.
