AAP Top Brass Snub Kailash Gahlot’s Decision To Quit Wasn’t On A Whim
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Delhi Assembly Colleagues have failed to maintain any sort of cohesion as AAP’s top brass were missing from the events held by Gahlot.
In the recent power struggle, it has come into light that 50-year-old Kailash Gahlot was under a tremendous amount of pressure. However, it's not because he was being accused or blackmailed.
He was sidelined following Atishi being assigned top portfolios in July this year. Sources reported that despite there being many Aap leaders with great experience who could have easily been promoted to key posts; Gahlot kept on expecting a better position however party leadership decided otherwise, leading him to quit.
Gahlot's decision to leave the party comes at an intriguing time considering top AAP brass were behind bars. He attended only parties where Kejriwal was present but not L-G events and other major affairs of state with Atishi as Delhi CM while Gahlot remained in silent conflict along with some aap leaders.
AAP MLA and Cabinet Minister Kailash Gahlot quit the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), sources said.
